In 2013, Donnie Moore and Darryl Roach created Team Trail Outdoors for the everyday workingman. As avid fishermen, Donnie and Darryl saw an opportunity to bring bigger payouts and have a trail that was affordable to everyday anglers. They developed a trail that honored their commitment to anglers and they strived to keep their payouts competitive. They continued to grow the tournament trail over the past 6 years and with the growth and success they have experienced, they ventured out to start the same base model for anglers who wish to participate with higher stakes. TTO ProTeam series started in 2021 with the same level of commitment and professionalism that is synonymous with TTO. In their efforts to maintain competitive payouts, ProTeam pays back 95% of entry fees with cash payouts totaling up to $160,000 plus additional contingency cash and prizes per event.
WHO IT’S FOR:
TTO ProTeam is for anyone who wants a higher-stakes tournament, as well as pros who are looking for tournaments that pay well and can be fished during their off season.
FORMAT:
Our ProTeam series is comprised of 4 two-day tournaments. We require pre-registration online with a deposit. We’re capping the field at 100 boats. There will be no opportunity to local jackpotters because once we reach the date for the balance due on the first tournament, we will not be accepting any more registrations. Whatever number of boats we have at the time of the first tournament will be our field. Registration will be cut-off and only teams who are pre-registered will have access to pay balances due for each tournament.
FEES:
Entry fees are $1,000 with an optional side pot of $700. There’s also a one time membership fee of $100 per person. Anglers must pay membership and deposits for all 4 tournaments at pre-registration online. Once we reach 100 teams, others who pre-register are placed on a waiting list for possible inclusion to a tournament if a team is unable to attend. Final payments are collected prior to each event and if any team is unavailable, we’ll open the waiting list until we have a cap of 100 boats for the tournament. Registration opens February 1st and it is a first-come, first-serve basis and ONLINE ONLY.
PAYBACK:
Pay back is 95% of the entry fees and 100% of the side pot. With a 100 boat field and full participation in the side pot, it’ll be payouts totaling approximately $160,000 plus additional contingencies. We won’t have a championship for this series right now, but we are offering an AOY bonus totaling $25,000 to the top 10 teams who fish all 4 events and participate in the side pot for all 4.
